Failure is a way to success

Today, we’ve got our marks and I saw a lot of frustrated, sad, defeated faces because they didn’t make it! It seems to be the hardest thing that they have ever experienced till now, they were trying to blame the teachers, the pedagogical system and other things related to that: Sure, this is normal reactions!

After failing, we all have-even once in our life- denied our mistakes, conviced ourselves that this doesn’t matter, bundled our losses or found a way to change this reality .. We did that because we were so anxious about it, we didn’t find the courage to assume that breakdown and to face it in order to make a decision, we were afraid of regreting it and ending by causing more damages, that’s why the only thing that we’ve been always doing is escaping and avoiding problems: we prefer to stay and hide in our cocoons, we don’t try living in a problematic world and ‘practicing’ failure and this won’t lead us to anywhere because experiences are learnt from it.

First, we have to recognize the misstep: this is the most challenging part, after that things will go smooth sailing. Once we release it, we become able to deal with it and to re-cast it into something more likely to achieve. We also have to put our emotions apart and to always put the possibility to fail thus we don’t get attached too much to our plans. Likewise, we can try new ideas, test it and take what is working in order to reduce risks when it comes to the real life. Likely important, why not having an adventurous spirit that likes trials? Taking a project where the cost of failure is higher than the successful one and just hoping for the best by making the downsides smaller than the upsides. What is more is to always believe that success starts with failure.
