Finding a Place to Fit

Short and simple. That's me. So, I'll make this short and simple.

Writing was not my thing when I was a kid. I was more of physical activities. Soon, as I grew up, my personality changed and my perception about the world. I just noticed how much I changed when I started writing at 6th grade. I finished a couple of stories yet I never posted them online. I was afraid of being criticized. However, as time pass by, I became an introvert. I wrote more than I've ever written before. I started posting online. I didn't know why until last year. My two best friends transferred schools. I was left in our old school. Really. It was kind of hell. I have friends in my year but I'm not as close to them and comfortable with them like when we used to. I, then, realized why I'm writing. I was looking for a place where I can be myself. A place where I can just write whatever comes into my mind. Because, I'm the type of person that needs a place to fit in. Certainly, not in this world, but in the literary world. In my journey of realization and reflection of why I write, I have never been this happy before.
