Rach and I turned around so quick I am surprised we didn't twist our necks. There he was, with his million dollar smirk wearing denims and a white v-neck. God Kevin was so hot!
Wait What?!
"So you are the one about whom Nat was going on talking about all day..." Rach said.
"Correction, not talking, insulting!" I corrected Rach.
"Aww babydoll.....don't go so hard on yourself....even you know and even I know that you cant resist this" he said pointing at his body with his hand. I rolled my eyes at his statement.
"In your dreams Andrews!" I said annoyed.
"Whoa whoa there...go easy or you will burst your nerve"he said and smirked, "Now are you going to help me to move in or not?" he asked me.
"Why u too weak to get your own stuff?" I said.He just rolled his eyes and left.
Rach was just there standing and listening to all that.
Now finally she spoke up,"What was that all about?"
"What? You cant blame me! I mean didn't you see how annoying he was?!" I yelled irritated by that idiot.
“That's not annoying you idiot! That’s called flirting and being sexy!" I rolled my eyes at Rach.
"Rach....SERIOUSLY?!"
Now it was her turn to roll her eyes.
Then we just started working on our project again and managed to finish half of it. Rach bid goodbye and said we would meet tomorrow.
I sighed and was making my way to my room when I heard footsteps coming towards my direction.
I felt annoyed on the thought that it will be that egoistic guy that I hate! But is was quickly changed when I saw someone else.
He was muscular and tanned with blonde hair that were just perfect. He wore a white button down shirt and black jeans.
He noticed me and said ,"Oh hey...you must be Natalie."
With a smile on his face. I don't know who he is and what is he doing in my house. "Nice to meet you. I m Peter"
Oohh! Peter! I forgot even he was coming. As being Kevin's friend, I thought he would be a jerk like him but he turned out to be the total opposite. At least till now he is.
"Oh hey. Nice to meet you too" I say with the brightest smile I can form."So do you like it here?” I asked.
"You mean the house? Well honestly I had expected something else…” he said.
"Something better or..."
"No no! This is way much better that I had expected it to be.” he said while scratching the back of his neck.
Aww he looked cute. And he was as hot as Kevin.
Why did they have to be so hot?! I thought to myself.
“Okay, good to know that. If it would have been the otherwise, I swear I would have made sure you slept in the store room.” I joked. And we both started laughing.
We stayed in awkward silence for a few seconds none of us knowing what to say.
Standing there awkwardly I decided to break the silence but when but I opened my mouth to speak, even he did the same and we laughed.
I tried to speak again but it seemed our minds were working together.
This happened thrice until it was so funny that we couldn’t stop laughing.
We were laughing hard!
After coming back to normal... he kept quite, indicating for me to continue and I did.
"Even you joining Pattinson high?" I asked him.
He nodded,”Yup, tomorrow"
"Okay then meet you there I guess?” I replied with a smile.
“Oh! even you are in Pattinson??” He asked confused
I simply nodded and told him I would talk to him later as I had assignments to finish.
I turned to walk to my room but I wondered where Kevin was because I was supposed to help him settle in and I didn’t and my mom was going to kill me for that!
So I turned around and asked Peter, “Hey, wheres Kevin?"
"He went to this nearby diner with Annie" he replied.
I gave him a confused look and he understood that I didn’t know Annie.
"Annabelle is Kevin's girlfriend"
I was shocked.
I know I shouldn't be this shocked as he is hot and all but I thought of him as a player and not boyfriend material.
“Umm…everything okay…??” Peter asked confused.
“Yup! I had just assumed that Kevin would be the player type of guy…. you know… since he is so rude and has a big ass ego.”
Peter started laughing really hard and when he saw my confused face he started laughing more.
“Kevin? A player? Please! He met Annie 3 years ago and it’s her since then. He has never even looked at any other girl since. He being a bad boy?? NOT A CHANCE! He is the good guy over here. And Annie is his first girlfriend. He’s never even got into a fight.” Peter said after he has finally sobered up from laughing so hard.
Kevin is a good guy? Not possible. He is so rude. Wait I haven't exactly talked to him much so why am I so against him? Maybe I was too much into reading bad boy novels that I just assumed.
Those typical cliché bad boy novels where the girl meets a hot guy and he is a player and rude but he turns nice just for her….Blah Blah.
But! This is reality and not all good looking guys are assholes and jerks. So maybe me being so rude with Kevin is not nice of me.
“Hey…. You are too busy thinking about whatever it is but I got to go get my course books. See you around.” He waved at me and left before I could respond.
I walked back to my room convinced that I will apologise to Kevin later when I see him.
