For what is it to live?

as the light disappears and darkness invades the sky, sometimes I wondered but why? such occurence is as real as nature itself, a phenomenon observed beyond the fluctuations of time

As my thoughts run deep, it creeps within the thresholds of my soul. My heart is hurt and my mind triggered, of many things I have foreseen. Or things that I have wondered in each possibility.

I am left with a void, not sure how it would be filled, but I think I know, only that I procrastinate.

In what sense would I be able to feel the meaning of what it really is to live. If not to experience what could go wrong with things or what could go right.

sometimes, it aint all about what you do for yourself just to fill in the contentment that you seek. But for what you do for the people that surrounds you. In exchange for basically nothing to expect. Thou this is dependent on perspective. But I know, this is how I see mine.

Expectations could run short, and are definitely not perfect. But its within the imperfections of your expectations that you see beyond the situation and enter in the continuum between benevolent and self serving.

Benevolent, that you sought to care for others. Self serving, that you choose to satisfy your own.

For what it is to live? Like the day that darkness turns over, it find its way in the cycle to make sure it takes its turn to live its purpose. and we have gotten used to this cycle as each one takes over.

So, you find a way to live within good and bad times, and fill the contentment that you seek with no expectations. In this way, we might be immuned from being hurt.
