For You

This one's for you.  Yes you, the person who's  reading my work right now.  This one is for someone who must have fought many battles in  life that I  know nothing  about.  But still as you're  reading  this right now and I want to  thank you.  Right now you might be sitting on a couch or on your usual seat in the Metro. You might be eating Biryani or sipping tea.  You might be at your home sweet home or boarding a plane.  You might be  anywhere doing probably anything but at this particular moment  you are reading my post on a storytelling site because this your escape.  Writing  or reading is where you find pleasure, you find peace.  And so do I.  You know nothing about me and I  know nothing about you but still I want to thank you. Thank you for  the many times  you have been the reason someone smiled. Maybe because you cracked a joke or maybe someone cracked a joke on you! For the  many times that  you  sacrificed for your  loved ones or even strangers and the many times they knew nothing  about it! So Just for one single moment put everything aside and think. How many streets you've walked since you  were born and how many of them you can never return to. How many people you've met, how many friends you've made,  how many fights you've had - for yourselves or for others for a reason or for maybe no reason! .  So many phases came in your life.  Ups and downs,  highs and lows, smiles and frowns. But here you are as I said maybe eating Biryani or sipping tea, resting on a couch or boarding  a plane.  You have seen so many things and only God knows if they were good or bad. And between all those things, All those moments, you have woven your story. All those little things... Those little insignificant moments that you never realized were passing by have unfolded the chapters of your life . And through all this journey, all this time you have been  doing just one thing. You, have been living. And so I want to tell you. You might have done something that many other people in the world  feared to do.  And you, surprisingly know nothing about it.  You indeed know nothing about anything and can predict nothing.  You don't know what your neighbor is doing right now.  You don't even know what you will be doing the very next moment! . Your life, your existence is so uncertain.  You don't even know how many moments are written in your fate! And despite that, you smile  everyday, as you open the same office door and come back to the same room. Without even realising you  inspire so many people, you help so many people.  And you're  reading this right now because you can relate  to all these  moments because in these moments  have you unknowingly learned to live, to smile. You've  smiled when you got a promotion, you've smiled when you didn't  because  you know that if you  didn't get what you  really wanted then life has something better coming your way.  And with smile you have  also always carried the burden of being a single parent,  a struggling dreamer, a not so intelligent child, a boring personality, a social off and a not stand up to the expectations of those who themselves didn't stand up to the expectations of the same sufferers. And yet and yet, again you smiled, you - survived. I thank you. Thank you for the many times that you were rejected  but you didn't give up. For the many times you failed but you didn't give up.  For the many times you lost your bestest opportunities and even then you didn't give up.  I want to thank you for in these many times you never ever forgot to do the one thing that is completely  under your control and is often under the threat to be lost - your spirit to live.
This one's  not to encourage you if you think you  haven't done any of these things . No,  this one's not for the you who is depressed. Because you don't need to be encouraged.  The only thing that can show you the good in you is you so go and search it. Because you are you and no one  in the world can make you realize that. And No one in the world can let you down  except you yourself.  So to you the happy to you  the unhappy.  I thank you for being, you.  I thank you  once again
For keeping hope of sunrise  even during the darkest of nights. For smiling and living through  all the problems that life threw at you. For always through everything being you and only you.
