I'm looking at you. You're two chairs away from me. You look happy, contented... you look exactly how I want you to look like. Except, you don't look like that when you're with me.
I'm looking at you. You're reading the text book seriously. I smile as your eyebrows knit together. Hoping for our eyes to lock together and share a smile. But no. Not even a glance.
I'm looking at you. Seeing the lense of your glasses makes me think of what the world looks like in your view. Is it colorful like how you made mine look when I'm with you? Or is it bland & monotonous like mine without your presence?
I'm looking at you. How wonderful your smile is. You're shining brightly. But you face them, not me. You laugh freely, not even glancing at me.
I'm looking at you. You look like a completely new person to me. You chose to be that. While I chose the other way. But through it all, we still work right? Or is it just for me?
I'm looking at you. You scold me for being too quiet. You couldn't see that I'm dying to talk to you. To say that I want you to laugh with me. I want you to smile at me. I want you to talk to me. Not at them. To me.
I'm looking at you. You choose not to. I thought about the years of laughters, cries and smiles we shared. Was it all for naught? Have you forgotten the promises we made? Have you forgotten what we had before? Have you forgotten about us?
Have you forgotten about me?
