Grew in love..

Its me who said I am not ready yet

Its me who said you don’t deserve me

I had a bad past and you carried the burden

when I believed him, he left

when you came I refused to believe you wont leave

how bad is this for me to turn into a person I don’t

recognise anymore..

to be insecured when freedom is what I preached!

now love is only a definition whereas love was what that had smitten me

who did this to me?

they say “experiences”

now that I know I am unreasonable

should I take a step ahead with you

do I trust myself for you are too precious for me to lose

life is bitter..but it just gets better..

will we get better, ever?

do I take chances but what if u say I didn’t play a fair game with you

i fear myself..

I will be lost in my own doom..

time will take its share from me

time will show its nature

and I shall look at you when you take your vows

for I was always unreasonable to be true..

you were my man, but fate had its own play

I have a battle to win

where my present has to win over my past

and then

I shall rise from all my fears

to make a world in which I will believe

I would have lost you by then

but I would be happy I fought and won because of you

and then when love will find its way

I shall embrace the happy days..

for now is not a bad time, but a difficult one though..

and since they say “this too shall pass”..

I will start to believe it to be true..

because finally I can say “I grew in love only when it was you”
