Happy Death or Happy Life?

What comes after when you have nothing left behind?

What comes after death when a life isn't lived right?

Rodents dream of cheese but settle for seeds.

Hawk feeds on mice for that is what happens to the weak.

Knowledge comes at a cost, sometimes even at the expense of a happy death or a Happy Life.

- Mask of Alisar

Heads up, there's no link between the above poem to the what's written below. I just was inspired to write it along.

Everyone has an alter ego. It's not just a intricate term befitting only superheroes. We all tend to obscure our real selves from others fearing rejection, ridicule, being mistaken.

A man can be a gentle father & a cruel husband at the same time. A lady can be a loving mother in pretense of a strict, unkind teacher. A bully as a caring brother or a stranger as a motivator. These are all examples of tamed versions of alter ego.

So who are we really?

We are assortment of alter egos that collectively define us. Like the clothes that define our style, our alter egos define our nature. And the real naked self is always suppressed because that's how we've defined us to be. If this isn't Alter egos then perhaps my definition of Alter ego is wrong. And I would totally encourage anyone to correct and debate me on this.

Believe it or not, our brains CAN function as WE define their limits. I'm obviously going to refer films such as Limitless, Inception, Lucy or The Butterfly Effect if you truly up to know what I'm talking about. While those ideas are novel, they are ideas good enough for cinematic renditions only.

But perhaps there are some readers who have watched, loved and genuinely understood films such as Unbreakable, Split and Glass.

I'd love to take more of your time talking about these amazing films. Because it is similar to what I'll be writing about for quite sometime and also because it is totally worth it.

This film deals with a person who has traumatic past and has ended up with 24 different personalities. This person develops traits and physical features as his personalities change, according to the situation he is in.

By the end of the film, I watched with bated breath to see the final personality appear which was clearly more than human. It is hard to believe but it is real.

Glass, to me, has to be among the most coveted and underrated film taking on world that has people larger than life. It gave classic Night Shyamalan twist as an end of the most realistic portrayal of superhumans.

Watch the entire movie for the 2 minute monologues of Mr. Glass and you'll not feel the same way about yourself again.

You could argue that I'm trying to actively encourage bipolar or even schizophrenic behavior. Which seems mental.

But so be it! I'm talking about what could be when we all tap into our natural abilities.

I'm talking about finding a purpose to change our limits.

I'm talking about tapping into our abilities to realise the supernatural intervention happening all around us.

I'm talking about being inspired to such a level you have a nimbus of purpose around you.

I'm talking about realising your existence can mean only so much without believing.

There's so much, so much more to us than just being alive or seeking happiness. I'm talking about being aware. I'm talking about what happens when consciousness meets awareness!

That some thoughts are so pre-eminent we can't articulate them due to the limitations of a language! Maybe I'm writing all this to prepare better for what I'll be writing about next. I might need all and any help who would like to discuss about this, who got even slight inkling of my theories.

This is a Shout-out to all those who've understood me to talk about more and more varieties of weird late night thoughts like mine!
