It was a bright and sunny day, the sky was beaming
and as I looked to the other side, he was waving
surprisingly bold, I walked up to him and said 'Hi'
He smiled, way better than the sky
He held my hand as we walked down the street
Has he finally felt the same way for me?
I did my best not to say anything stupid
and just enjoyed the breeze, muggy and humid
I found myself wondering,
Why hasn't he said a word?
I looked to my side and saw nothing
Could this day get any more absurd?
He didn't tell me he was leaving so soon
He left me out of the blue
I opened my eyes and saw nothing
He didn't tell me I was just dreaming
