I'm not a fan of hide and seek.
I always thought it was boring and predictable. I think everyone knows how it works right? There are rules needed to follow, depending on what you agreed with your mates. But one thing I'll never forget is, if when the seeker has found you, you must run as fast as you could so he won't be able to catch you when you tap on what most people called 'seeker'shome-base', and yell "SAFE!" so you won't be tagged anymore.
Eversince I was a child, my brother wouldn't let me be the 'it' 'cause I was small, and had short legs, so if this kind of hide and seek involves running, and panting hard, I was always an exception.
I'm no fan of hide and seek, but You are.
Same rules apply. But for the first time, I was 'it' and I seeked you.
"Ready or not, here I come!"
I've found you where you've been hiding yourself all these years.
I saw you, then you reciprocate my gaze. Thought so, you're going to run and yell 'SAFE' at my dark oak tree home-base, but you just stared at me, paused and obsolete-looking.
You just started walking away saying, "The game's over. Let's get home."
Was the game really over? Was it?
We've found each other.
If You just tapped my so-called-home-base means you knew I've found you, you could be 'safe'--you won't be tagged and of course I wouldn't let you.
But you just declared that the game's over as soon as I've found you.
Pity, isn't it? I risked my idiocy for finding lost 'things' and hoped that it'll be fun chasing one after the other. I thought it was predictable like what I've always believed in, but it wasn't, and you weren't.
You just walked away, without finishing the game you started. I didn't know there's actually a new rule for Hide and Seek: walk away if you feel like you just want to walk away, and play again if you feel like to play again.
What a nasty conviction...
Lad I've found You, yes I did. As expected and predictable as it may seem,
but you lost me instead.
