Hold On Pain Ends.

Note: Before you start reading, I would like to mention again that this story is completely fictional especially the names. I am not really good at writing fiction. But then that doesn’t mean I can’t even try. So I hope it is relative and you like it. So here we go ….

Let me introduce you to the characters of my story.

Akash, kiara and Diana. (Yess from my first two characters, It is clear that I love Anjaana Anjaani.)

Kiara is a girl who totally believes in living young, wild and free and ‘Because You Only Live Once’ theory. She is a dreamer who knows how to live her life fully and is a DJ in New York and is liked a lot by people. She is passionate and has a fire in her to make her dreams come true. Being a party-lover and Famous, Guys ask her out now and then but She believes in being Single.

Akash is totally a self-centred guy. He doesn’t like meeting people and making friends except for professional purposes. He is a small entrepreneur who has many dreams but his dreams are all materialistic. He just wants to be rich and successful in life. He is on his way to becoming a big entrepreneur But he is not desperate for it. He is hard-working and he can wait for it.

Diana is just a struggling model who wants to become a superstar. And she can stoop to any level for that. She has no support as such But she has what everyone needs. A true friend and a great motivator and that is Kiara.

SO THIS HOW THE STORY GOES ….

Life is going fine for these three untill Akash and Kiara bump into each other at a grocery shop.

Akash: ‘‘Ouch.’’

Kiara: “Shit. My groceries.”

Then Akash helps Kiara with her groceries and Apologizes.

Akash: “I am so sorry. Let me these for you now.”

Kiara: “Nope. It’s okay.”

Akash: “Okay. Let’s go for a cup of coffee then.”

Kiara: “Are you asking me out?”

Akash: “ Nope. I am just asking you genuinely.”

Kiara: “Okay then. Let’s go.”

Then they go to Hard Rock Cafe at New York Time Square.

Akash: “I am really sorry.”

Kiara: “No. It’s totally okay. You have made up to me for it. By the way, Hi. I am Kiara.”

Akash (Shaking her hand): “Hey. I am Akash.”

Kiara: “So what are you doing in New York?”

Akash: “I am a business man. I have a business of Cars. What about you?”

Kiara: “Oh. Impressive. Well, I am a DJ here. And guess that’s enough to describe me.”

They talk and laugh for hours. They talk about their passions and interests. They share their passion for food and travelling. For both of them, It was great to find someone who also wants to go for a world tour. They are really enjoying each other’s company. But then Kiara gets a call from her assistant and she has to go for a party. So they exit the cafe.

Akash: “It was really nice meeting you, Kiara.”

Kiara: “Same. We should meet more. Or maybe we should bump into each other more.”

Akash (Laughing): “And from now, purposely. Anyway, You are getting late. Bye. Take caree. See you soon maybe?”

Kiara: :”Haha yess. Sure.”

Then they exchange each other’s numbers. And go to their own ways.

The party she was going to perform today was organised by A big entrepreneur. She didn’t know further details but she had a wish deep down in her heart that she gets to meet Akash. Diana was also going to be present in that party as she is in the advertisement team of that party.

Party has started. Everyone is enjoying. Even she is. And suddenly out of nowhere, Akash comes into her sight. And their eyes meet. And then it is dinner time so DJ doesn’t have to perform that time. They meet. Talk and talk. They both know it is a beginning of something.

She introduces Akash to Diana. Akash finds Diana really hot and Diana knows that Akash can also lead her to success as he has made contacts with many renowned people through his profession. But for now, She has another projects. So she lets go of that idea.

Then in a month or two, Akash and Kiara have been meeting and having fun. In a month, They have known each other so much that it feels like they know each other from their childhood. Everything is going smooth. And gradually, they fall in love and come in a relationship. During all this time, they have been hanging out with each other’s friends. That means Kiara and Akash have been spending time with Diana too.

They both don’t get to know that they have been together for a year now and everything is going smooth into their lives.

Whereas for Diana, Her projects have failed. She is looking for more and more opportunities. One night, she is drunk and she decides to go to akash.

Obviously like every guy, Akash too has fantasies.

So she reaches his house. He supports her as a friend. But she takes it in a wrong way. And they both are drunk and are in Akash’s bed. Yess. She slept with him.

In the morning, Akash is all guilty for what he has done. And then Diana wakes up.

Diana: “So did you enjoy it?”

Akash: “Shut up, Diana. I can’t and shouldn’t cheat on Kiara. She is your bestfriend. How could you do this to her.”

Diana: “Okay. Then let’s go and tell her the truth. You wanna break her heart, Okay then.”

Akash: “Nope. Please. I will do whatever you want to. But please don’t tell her.”

Diana: “Okay then listen to me. Make me meet big superstars and directors you know and also big entrepreneurs and also I would love to work in the advertisements of your company. That will give me power.”

Akash: “Okay. But you have to promise me that we will forget about this night and you won’t tell Kiara.”

After this, everything is going good for Diana. Akash and Kiara are also fine but this guilt is somewhat killing Akash and Even Kiara has a feeling that something is wrong with Akash. But Akash tells Kiara that everything is fine.

Even after having her all demands fulfilled, She comes at Akash’s house at nights and sleeps with him. She doesn’t give a damn about her friend Kiara.

Akash has also given in now. He knows his guilt won’t take him anywhere. So now he also has started enjoying Diana’s company. That means he is officially cheating on Kiara.

Kiara and Akash don’t meet much now. Everything is going bad for Kiara. Due to Akash’s behaviour, She is being distracted from her work, her dreams and It is affecting her work and her health too. She cries at nights because she can’t figure out what’s going on. Two important people of her life are changing. That is Akash and her “friend”, Diana.

One night, She decides to go to akash’s house. Akash and Diana are drunk and are having “fun” in his room. She opens the door. She doesn’t find anyone. She goes upstairs and opens the door of Akash’s room. And what she found out, She hadn’t even imagined that in her wildest dreams.

She literally is in a stage of shock. She cries and cries. And then Akash comes out of that room wearing his shirt and pants and Diana has towel wrapped around her. And she doesn’t have the feeling of guilt and shame in her eyes or on her face.

Akash: “I can explain, Kiara. I am sorry. I was just having fun. I also have some physical needs. I was bored of you. But I am emotionally attached to you. So I didn’t tell you that you don’t make me happy in that way because I didn’t want to hurt you.”

Kiara gets up from the floor. She can’t accept what she saw. But she gathers the courage and before leaving his house, She slaps him hard on his face. And She yells at Diana.

Kiara: “Diana, You are an emotionless person. What will you do with success and money when you won’t have people or a family to care for you. Go and get a life.”

Kiara (To Akash): “Akash, Never ever show me your face. I loved you. I don’t know what is the fault in me that I couldn’t be enough for you. But you know what You don’t deserve me. That’s what I would like to believe.”

And she goes. She drives to her house. Cries for hours. Gets drunk. That’s what she does for two days. Then she thinks of ending her life because she feels that there is nothing really left in her life. But before that she thinks of living a normal day of her old life.

She goes to meet her parents. Spends some time with her old friends. Has fun. She travels around the city. Eats her favourite food in her favourite restaurant. Goes for shopping. She goes to her house. She dances on her favourite songs. Watches her favourite shows on Television. Then her assistant calls to inform her that she has an offer from a big superstar and his party is tonight. She says yes. She enjoys being a DJ and that party kinda brought her ‘live life like it’s your last day’ attitude back in her. At night she goes to the Brooklyn Bridge and thinks of ending her life. But then she recalls everything that has happened to her till date. Her dreams, Becoming a DJ, Coming to New York with her family, Akash, Diana and the events of that day.

She thinks and then decides not to end her life.

Kiara (to herself): “I have had enough of my lessons. Akash and Diana were chapters, Not the whole book. I can’t end my life after them. I can’t lose my Hope, Dreams and passion because of them. I have a lot of dreams to live. I think love will knock my door on it’s own. I shouldn’t wait for it desperately or go looking for it. It will someday maybe. But for now, I have a lot of work to do. Because Yess I have to go for a world tour before I die. And also make a lot of friends. Eat a lot of food. Inspire a lot of people to follow their dreams. Be a part of a lot of parties. And a lot more. So from now on, I will look forward live my present. Not to think about my past but keep all the lessons in my mind and dream for future.”

(Some of my friends tell me now and then that you write happy endings. But that’s not the reality. Or I should rather say “Ugly” reality. The “Ugly” reality includes sad endings, breakups, conspiracies and much more “uglier”. And the reality is almost never a happy ending or a fairytale. But dear friends, I think this story is the ugly reality and the ending is a happy ending because I think that’s how stories can have a happy ending. Having hope and fire to live your dreams, is definitely how we should live a life. So try to make bad incidents of your life just a lesson to you and make sure you have a happy ending too. But also make sure you don’t end your life because of such stupid things like breakups or marks or family problems. Because I always say, “Life is a lot more than that.”)
