Now look, there are a variety of ways you can go about making some seriously good money online. But the way I do it is a very reputable business model that’s seen plenty of success in the past. Build A Blog

If you’re already a blogger, you’re probably pretty familiar with this step. You’re going to want to use WordPress to get a blog online. You will want a clean and concise theme. You will need a few plugins but not too many. It’s all about getting the right balance of functionality and comfort without going overboard.

At the end of the day, your blog is the lifeblood of your email marketing business. It’s the figurehead of your business. It’s the first impression. It needs to be right.

Build A List

Right, so we’ve got our blog set up how we want it. Now, this is where we separate the boys from the men. Up until now, we’ve just got a regular old blog. No income being generated from it. How do we change all that? It’s called an email list. Email marketing is all about selling a product either you created or someone else created and you’re endorsing. I’d recommend creating your own product, but if you’re just interested in the marketing side of things, earning a commission from someone else’s product can also be quite lucrative.

Basically, to build an email list, you need to collect the names and emails of potential clients. You do this through the use of opt-in forms. You promise a quality, free product in exchange for their name and email address. An example of this is the squeeze page. Implement A Solid Email Campaign

What are we going to do with all of these email addresses? What’s your email campaign strategy? We’re going to build a relationship, to start with. We need to earn the trust of our subscribers by providing useful and valuable information.

After we’ve done that, perhaps 7 or so emails into the series, we can send the sales letter. This is a sales pitch aimed at converting as many subscribers as possible into buyers. We send them to our sales page and give them good reason to buy our product.
