Falling in love is not a choice but giving yourself a chance to fall is merely a choice. It's like knowing that there's a bait in your way but instead of going the other way, you just continue walking and fall into the trap.
Just like when someone message you whether it's in text messaging, messenger or any application that receive messages, and instead of ignoring it, you insist to ask who he or she is. Then the game begins...
The first stage, the getting to know each other stage. You and the person who messaged you will talk for hours and you'll begin to ask each other's background.
The second stage, the giving reminders stage. In this stage you'll ask each other if you have eaten breakfast, lunch, dinner and will remind each other to not skip meals. This will start the sweet conversation.
The third stage, the deeper conversations stage. In this stage you'll talk about past relationships, what do you like about a person, and everything that will give deeper understanding about each other.
The fourth stage, the catching feelings stage. In this stage whether you like it or not you will be attached to the person you are currently talking to.
At first you'll think that it's just normal and you can't say whether you already fall in love or not. But after a while when everything turns rough and you stop talking to each other you will realize that you have feelings for that someone.
Falling in love does not only happen between two people who are together. It can also happen between two souls who understand each other despite of not being together.
