How it feels to be none

I'm kinda feeling something so familiar;
Its a void in my chest that gets bigger and bitter at the same time
Its something described as loneliness and despair,
But it always makes me feel like I'm home.

In the middle of nowhere -
Sitting in this room of madness
A tingling sensation creeps behind my back,
Like how my blanket keeps me cozy at night
As I fade into the background.

How come people say that darkness is empty
When 'it' all alone occupies everything
From its edges to it full form
It resides as something.

There's no place like home -
Home. Home. Home.
I'm here. But,
Where is here?
