How was that night?
That first night of love
In the world!

The night which gave wings
To the two most primitive loving beings,

How was its loneliness?
When two lips desperately
wanted the company
Of each other!

How was its solitude?
When fingers of two hands
unhesitatingly twisted round
One another!

How was its silence?
When two lovers chose their bodies
