Accept me as I am and I can show you what all I can be,
So many shades and colours of me that you are yet to see..
Like a kite won't fly under water and a ship can't sail on lands,
An elephant can never be like the camel in the sands..
Let me be me and then you may see,
The endlessness of the galaxy..
There are things I can do and things that I can't,
How do I evolve into that person that you want..
Followed the herd all these years,
Did what they did and kept shifting gears,
Now I have lost so much time,
Killing my dreams is my regretful crime..
It's never too late they keep saying,
Not realizing that my talents are fraying..
A potter carves with wet clay,
In whichever shape that comes to play,
Now I'm old , slowly breaking,
My clay is on the verge of cracking..
The battle between heart and mind,
If the heart won, the herd will leave me behind,
If the mind won , I would stay unhappy,
