There will be that one moment in our lifetime where the absence or lost of a loved one will hit us like a stellar collision. It will either burst into something beautiful or something so wrecked there's no other way to handle the situation but to start anew. I wish this short poem serves you well.
Funny how I thought my world hushed when you left
When all that really happened was me meeting my death
Death of my soul that I long developed
Death of my persona that I long hoped
But things will get better,
I sure hope so
Everything will again matter
It will take time though
You know what people say
Time heals all wounds
But as to my dismay,
I am still here like a child in an unfamiliar woods
