This phase of life is killing me inside. I am 26 and born in a North Indian Family where a girl is not allowed to dream big but only allowed to get married and have babies. I am a girl with big dreams who wants to become something in life and carrying a wings of hope that someday i will be allowed to fly high in life.
I left the Job few months back because it wasn't working well over there and finding a new job has become a tough task for me now as parents wants me to get married in a family where in-laws doesn't want me to work but to cook food at home and doing all that chores that an ideal Indian Lady is expected to do after marriage.
People ask what are your expectations from a groom and i only smile with a response "I am ambitious. Will he accept me?"
Today i would want an opinion from the readers on the same.
Is it asking for too much if i want a freedom to work after marriage?
This is a Short letter from a daughter to her dad describing his love she is deprived of since years
