I watched Superman fly away

Info

Not all heroes wear capes. This is probably one of the clichè phrases you wouldn't want to hear anymore since it is spreading all over. But I'll tell you one thing: not all heroes wear capes, because some of them prefer to wear towels around their shoulders, or expose their bloated tummys with their boxers even during cold season.

One thing that's good about superheroes is that they can do anything. Some of them could fly and see through walls, and move faster than the speed of sound. They could melt lead just by looking at it, and can spit poisonous venom to their enemies. Bullets and lasers bounced harmlessly off their skin. Some of them could pass through the heart of a star unharmed, like Superman. If ever there was a man with absolute power, it is indeed Superman. But there's no such thing in reality.

They are fictions. Superheroes are all fictions.

I never believed them, even when I was still a kid. But as I kept on growing, I've realized that, there are really superheroes. They really do exist, and I've met few of them already.

He is an archetype of a superhero in reality, so I will describe him in different ways. He doesn't fly, because he can't fly. He wasn't born with a magical cape behind his back, or an awesome wings to be proud of. But he managed to fly us using his own money into different places wherein we could bond together.

He can't see through walls, but he sees through me. He knows how to make me calm, and he knows how to motion his hands to shoo away the monsters inside me. When my eyes start to tear, he would suddenly vomit a joke, and I swear, I don't know how did I feel better after that. He sees my insides, and I wouldn't wish for more.

One of the things I love about him is that, he never moves faster than a sound, but he is always there even before the said time of the meeting in a particular place. He was never late, especially when you need him-he is always there. He never leaves.

Even a tantalizing eyes couldn't melt a lead, so does he. Yet I melt everytime he turns his gaze on me with mad eyes and a frowning face, just to scold me from what I did wrong. He has the ability to make someone's heart melt using his eyes, and the woman of his life was the victim and their overflowing love is the evidence of it.

He doesn't spit venomous poison, but he spits terrible jokes. I could puke any moment every time he does that, but I will definitely miss that side of him.

He is normal, so don't expect if any bullets, lasers, or sharp knives aren't able to damage him. He used to be a man who strives even when he's bruised and scarred-hard inside, and could act like a normal guy who doesn't feel anything. That's why he is strong enough to protect us whole.

He had never show any sort of weakness whatsoever, for he only wants to live us in comfort that's why he managed to show off his strong facade. However, I came to know the truth after growing out of my childhood.

They were all normal people whose true selves were still hidden.

Nobody knows what types of unfair, sad, scary, difficult things that fathers were forced to face throughout their lifetime. And now, the reason why they endured through the unfair, sad, scary, difficult things in the world is because they had people they had to protect

It's because they have families who depend on them as the "Father."
