I'm Thankful Enough that He Left

Every break up moment is really hard to overcome
Especially when it's so sudden and you're still in love with him
You're starting to question yourself...
Am I not enough?
Am I despensable?
Am I ugly?
Where did I go wrong?

And then you start blaming yourself.

Right now, I'm in the moment of being left hanging
Yes, in just blink of an eye, he suddenly felt he doesn't love me anymore
That he wanted space and time to fix his problem

I immediately begged him to stay
I cried a lot
I have these sleepless nights
I skipped most of my meals
Wasted my time laying on bed and started looking back of our memories

I was thinking that he never loved me
I was thinking that I'm just a rebound
I was thinking that I'm nothing to him

But I was all wrong.

We decided to talk and clear out things personally.
I realized we're having this kind of relationship where our hearts are warmly open to listen and accept each other's opinion.

I asked him. He asked me.
We answered every question sincerely, honestly, and open-heartedly.
I have trust issues toward him.
He has unsolved problem in the past.
We realized a lot of things.

And yes, we should fix ourselves first.
We need time and space.
And when the right time comes, I'm ready to trust him again and he's ready to love me again.

Sometimes a couple has to fall apart in order to realize something within theirselves.

Presently, we're still together and we're spending  "quality time" with each other before we part our ways.

I'm thankful enough that he came into my life
I'm grateful enough that he's been part of my life
I'm happy enough that I spent most of my time with him
I'm contented enough that we got to talk about the problem he's having right now.
I'm blessed enough that God gave me an open mind and heart in order to understand his own point-of-view.

Tomorrow, we will continue our lives separately and we have to wait for the right time for the right love.

Yes, he left me hanging
He broke all the promises he made
He is the one who gave up
He caused me so much pain
He set me free and
Yes, we broke up but it's a HAPPY BREAK UP one
