In Dreams We Fall

Eyes closed and the world begins to fade.
In deep breaths, my mind began to count the seconds to minutes,
I hear nothing but the faint whispers and hushed tunes of the earth.

I could hear the faint drumming sound of my heart

the rhythmic sounds of my breath

it was then I understood...

In dreams we fall.

Life itself is filled with the bitterness of truth.

I basked beneath the shades of the tree to hide away from the sun...

I dreamed of the countless possibilities of then and now...

and yet, I called upon my senses...

opened my eyes...

and said to myself,

IN DREAMS WE FALL.
