Is this the freedom the country wishes?

Yes I get scared when I hear a kid crying in the dark. What if the kid is being molested? I don't care if the kid is a guy or a girl, the probability is the same. Yes I get scared when a random, creepy looking guy emerges out of a corner. What if there is a dead body in there? Yes I want to help those crying kids but I'm scared, what if they hold hostage of me? I get anxious whenever I hear kids crying, I get anxious when a random guy is walking behind me, I get anxious when I'm in a crowded bus and guy is standing close to me. I know not all guys are creeps but how are we supposed to differentiate? How is a child supposed to differentiate?

The people who are supposed to throw these people into a life sentence are supporting them. Don't we need to feel worried about it? I will continue to feel the same anxiety every second of my life till I'm assured that no one would touch me when I don't want to.
