I was out with my friends having a good time.
You were mad, and told me I was such a slut.
You gave me a cold stare, you looked down
And said "I'm sorry my love, I didn't mean it."
Our casual talk turned into an argument.
You knew I was wrong, and you were right.
I nearly fainted, you slapped me so hard
And said "I'm sorry, don't make me mad, okay?"
My mother called me, she missed me.
I told you I would leave, and I miss her too.
You want me to stay, so you had to lock me up.
And said "You could have asked nicely, y'know?"
I was feeling very pretty with my new dress.
I showed it off to you, your brows furrowed.
In disbelief, you strip my dress off of me
And said "I told you never to wear skimpy clothes."
I don't know what went wrong between us.
It was a really long night, the rain is pouring.
You were beating my already swollen face.
And said "It won't happen again, I promise"
