Itchy Bitchy Spider

And she fell in an endless darkness, not knowing what to do and what to feel. She fell broken and alone. She just let go, after all, no one was holding on.

Spider woke up. Another bright and joyful day, she thought. Another day full of euphoric memories and pleasing experiences. At school, she met her friends that are fun to be with. They always tell stories of how they succeeded with this and succeeded with that. Spider just went with all of it with an unfading smile plastered in her pretty but tired-looking face.

She went home, looking gloomy and bleak. But as she opened the door of their house, her desolate state became a cheerful facade. Her eyes met with the eager eyes of her parents. She already know that they wanted information -- good information that are worthy to be proud of. But she also knew from the start that they will never be contented. She knew that she will never be enough.

She told her family that she was the first in their exam and she recited tons of times. Her family was satisfied, but that is just for a temporary span of time. They will come up with other inquisition to find out what she did great. The smile was always there, but she never received any kind gestures from her parents, even from her siblings. They are just hollow bodies that should be filled with the achievements of their youngest child.

So, she just went with all of it. At least, she has a loving and understanding lover -- or so she thought. She called her lover, but the confusing thing is he didn't answer this time. He always answers her calls.

Why now? Why this time? When will they care for me? Why can't they see how hurt I am? Those are the questions that kept bugging her. Eating her up slowly, those self-doubts and discriminations. If she went on like this further, she will not survive any longer. So, she began to change. To evolve into something new, something vicious.

And here she is now, the once loving and caring spider became an obnoxious spider with wild and morbid acts. She is not backing down anymore. She is now fighting for her rights and to avoid getting any discrimination. She is now cutting those connections that kept bugging her. But that is the wrong thing that she did.

Slowly, the boundary became see-through and the glass became transparent. It became clear to her, the question and the answer.

"Are you happy with the people around you? No, I am not."

But the thing that made more sense is the web. The connection of each strand to a single point to another. Those points are the people in her life that kept her from travelling and searching. And all of it became clear now, she cut down the web.

That is why she experienced a sudden trembling, because the web is shaking.
And her life is failing. She is now falling -- deep and darkening.

She let go, because she can't hold on any longer.
