Jaipur Bytes - Review

I want to start by thanking Launchora for introducing me to this amazing fiasco of literature and writing. The digital media has spread across the continents and now we can even sit at home and experience the ZEE Jaipur Literature Festival,2019. Jaipur Bytes has been a great initiative on Launchora's part to deliver the festival to each one of us.

The first podcast with Sanjoy Roy (Managing Director and Producer at ZEEJLF) kick starts the journey of Jaipur Bytes. He honestly tells that the Jaipur Literature Festival was by accident and not by choice. But, the growth of the festival was enormous. I felt the intention of the team was so pure that it was bound to be a success. The only intention was to spread knowledge of all forms from around the world and also put India on the World Map. The destination was perfectly chosen because of its heritage and its a beautiful spread of inter cultural ideologies,views and knowledge. One thing that struck me in this conversation was the respect for each others opinions and literature.

The second podcast was about "The Perils of Journalism." I might not be the right person to judge and put my views on this debate. Honestly, even if you agree or disagree about the perils, you should still hear it out for the sheer brilliance of the conversation.

The third podcast with Namita Gokhale (founder and co-director of ZEEJLF) talks about the interspersed literature from all the regions. The one thing that i have loved the most was how she spoke about every regional literature and made it important and how ZEEJLF encourages diversity and young writers giving them a platform to showcase their work and get to learn from the diverse literature performed at the Festival.

I think that Launchora has taken a big step to bring the festival so close to our homes. It is available on eight platforms and I am sure people who genuinely love writing and reading will enjoy the festival on their earphones.
