Everyone out there worrying about their size and weight, chuck it! Seriously, no one can ever give up on food, you may try it, and some may succeed but not everyone. Food is just way too delicious. No one can stop foodies like us. Food is our passion, food is our love.
There’s always craving for hot chocolate or tea or coffee in winters, when we are in that hugging blanket all warmed up.
Whenever it’s the monsoon season, and that cloudy ambiance starts to appear, all we can think of is pakore. Those deep fried various veggie pakore with some green chutney and a bit sweeter tea under those black clouds and zephyr.
Then in summers, when we are out under the sweltering heat of the sun, all we want that time is fresh cold lemonade or lassi or banta or for others shikanji.
Even when we’re sick, we foodies can’t stop. We are even ready to eat that tasteless khichdi and those hot soups.
We foodies don’t go to wedding because we get to dress up; we go as we get to eat delicious wedding food. Like all amazing buttery, creamy and yummy dishes. (Oh lord! I am drooling). Best part is when it’s a winter wedding and you get to eat while sitting around a heater.
We wait for festivals to devour those festive super fatty delicacies. Festivals to us mean FOOD. And our favorite is those sweets after that heavy meal. And which is our favorite festival? Obviously Diwali, because we get to eat at our own house and then others’ house too and we even get amazing gifts, like sweet’s box, or chocolates, or even those snack boxes.
We can’t survive without chocolates and NUTELLA and some indulging baked goods! Those yummy dark chocolates and walnut brownies and those tiny little muffins and decadent cakes and tarts and pies and loafs and DONUTS with luscious toppings and glaze! (I am drooling again)
When our mom is too tired to cook, our only life savior is “Maggie” (noodles).
We crave for late evening snacks like some chips or samosa and yes late night snacks too. Pringles!
In exams time too, when we’re supposed to study, we think of food and coffee is our life line, it helps us to stay up late and it even fills our tummy.
We find hell crazy reasons just to eat. A jaunt with a friend means food too. And when we’re out with our gang, it means Food Party. Pizza, burgers, street food, fast food, drinks, and just super unhealthy dishes. We even eat when we’re simply walking like those take away rolls and ice creams.
We love every sort of food; life without food for us is like Barbecued ribs without barbeque sauce, Pani Puri without the flavored water, Indian food without the spices, Dosa without Sambhar, Pav Bhaji without butter, Cake without icing, Pizza without cheese, Biryani without rice, Banta without soda, a perfect meal without the ending of a sweet, etcetera.
There is no sincerer love than the love of FOOD! One of the very nicest things about life is the way we must regularly stop whatever it is we are doing and devote our attention to eating.
P.S. If this post makes you any hungry, share it among your friends, make them hungry too!
