“Did I dream it?” My mind said as I was getting back home.
My head was burning with rage, I wanted to cry but tears weren’t coming out. I was in pain, true pain. It felt like I was going to die, my life was over but then he said “Stay serene, I will never let something like this ever happen to you again.”
It wasn’t a dream. It really happened. What happened was something I couldn’t tell everyone, especially my family, so I decided to tell my friend “Tarushi”. I hit her up on Facebook, and started telling her:
“Well, this is not a story of some new upcoming movie, it just happened, with ME. It started raining while I was waiting for him. After 20 minutes he at last showed up, he was there. At last I had a bright smile on my face, the one I loved was here at last, we were meeting for the second time, but it felt like it had been for forever.
So we were walking in that beautiful weather, hand in hand and reached a deserted park. We both were in love, and as they say love is blind, we found a corner, hugged each other tightly and kissed. A perfect kiss, with the guy I loved. It felt like magic. I wanted to savor it. Couldn’t it last for forever?
As we started walking back to my house, a police officer came up to us. He pulled us away. I didn’t expect something like this to happen. That police officer had seen us together kissing, and he wanted to call our parents. He hit my love hard and always stopped me from saying anything. We apologized for an hour but did it work? Our luck wasn’t with us. He didn’t only hit my love, he abused us, humiliated me and what not. After almost an hour, and a whole lot of verification, he sent my love back.
Now it was just him and me in that deserted park. There was no one to be seen. I kept apologizing, but he didn’t listen. My apologies didn’t matter to him. After a long silence, the police officer kept a proposal in front of me. He said “Either I’m going to call your parents and tell them what happened right here, or you give me a kiss.”
I couldn’t believe my ears, for a moment it all seemed like a nightmare, but then no, he was right there looking at me. He had that filthy look. All I could do that time was run away from there. But then he asked me again, I looked behind, my love wasn’t there, I took a step back, one more, and one more and then I just ran away. I never looked back. I reached a crowded market area, called my love, and there he was right in front of me. I told him what happened. He looked at me and said “Stay serene, I will never let something like this ever happen to you again.”
Later, he dropped me home safely.”
I slept while talking to her, she made me calmer. She just told me to forget it, erase it from my memory, and stayed with me for the rest of the night.
In the morning I had a message from him saying “Hey beautiful, I felt your pain, and well I took your revenge. That guy is no longer a police officer.”
"A hero is somebody who is selfless, who is generous in spirit, who just tries to give back as much as possible and help people. A hero to me is someone who saves people and who really deeply cares."
It’s just a made up story, not real. Live happily, and just spread the love.
