In the cage of our hearts
Our bird resides
Which is tethered there
And is forced to keep quiet.
Though it is meant to fly
We try it with all our might
To keep it captured
And not let it take a flight.
Because it is our confidant
And if it leaves
It'll blur out secretive stuff
Like what everyone keeps.
Concealed in a corner of our hearts
Our bird struggles to fly
To flap its wings
And in relief , zoom the sky.
Our bird is our feelings
Which hide from the entire world
Which in reality are healings
Only if we disclose them without fear.
Our feelings, our emotions
They belong to us
If we keep them in for long
Our hearts will burst.
Burst, with rage
Of being imprisoned
So unlock your cage
And let out your bird
For it is meant to fly
Up in the infinity of the sky.
