Letter to my future

  Dear Future Self, 

As you read this, I hope you have figured it out,  the equation I mean. The one on which we have been working for quite some time now.  The one that has seen us through tears and smiles. It felt important to write this letter because sometimes the only way to heal yourself, is to look back and reflect all the things.  Accept the past because, that is all what we can do.  Acceptance can be hard sometimes,  but always necessary. Don't dwell on things you did wrong. Instead focus on how you can make them right. Enjoy each passing moment because they go by far too quickly. Honestly, I am at the loss of words right now. I don't know what to say because you clearly have been where I am right now. But if there is one thing I really hope for you,  is that you are happy. I hope the sleepless nights didn't go in vain. I hope that you have not repeated the mistakes back from a decade ago. Instead, I hope you have gone ahead and made new ones, because that's what help us to learn. I hope you still pick yourself up as soon as you fall. I hope you have learned to live better, to laugh better and love better. Do you still play with words? Is your playlist still filled with Ruben, link in, Tagore? Are those anonymous poems are still your soul when you are down? I hope you still watchF. R. I. E. N. D. S.  Do you still talk to yourself when you are alone?  Have you exhibit those pictures that you always wanted to?  Have you started exploring the world that you have urged since long time? I hope you have still found a mate or do you still feel lonely?  Don't forget, sometime wrong turns leads to right places. I hope that you didn't make the wrong in friendship again or believing someone as best friend or even more than that, which you failed to express to herself mainly just in fear of loosening friendship. Hope you are a little more mature about life. Mature enough to understand people more and get aquinted with them. Do you still fail to distinguish between Friendship and that undefined thing?? 

I hope you not given up dreaming. Remember you 22-year old dreamer self? The funny one, the clumsy one, illogical sometimes, who would stay awake till four in the morning craving dreams with open eyes? Have you made it big yet?  If you have then kudoos man! But in case you haven't, just know that it's okay. It's okay if you have been greeted by far more failure than success. It's okay if you feel like a mess. But it's not okay to give up dreaming, stop feeling sorry for yourself. Self pity will only bring defeat. 

Pat yourself on the back. You have made through another decade filled with love lost and found. I hope you are proud of it too because I sure am. I am already in love with all that you have become. I feel so proud to call you me and me you. No matter what you have done in past decade, just know that I am right there looking out for you. That's all you need to know and to observe more sunrise and sunset through rest of the path.
