"Row, row, row your boat
Gently down the stream.."
I rowed tirelessly,
But I am not happy.

"Merrily, merrily, merrily
Life is but a dream.."
So I decided to wake up
All I can say is "Oh, crap!"

It wasn't a nightmare
But this isn't better.
I realized I was unhappy
Because I rowed harshly.

Should I have taken my time
To appreciate the journey
It would have been a nice dream.
What a shame!
