Little Dreams

Everyone talks about big dreams and I have done the same well as. But no one will talks about little dreams. What I feel is that the little dreams are the ones that have a special big corner in our life.

Everyone has envision right? The big dreams ? I mean who doesn't. But you know what ,lets discuss about the little ones .I wish it would rain today ,I wish my father will buy chocolates ,I wish my boss would cancel the meeting today . 

Now you may think that how are these even dreams ? but let suppose they are. Just for the sake of this story .

So I too saw a little  dream in this year . I dream of watching the sunrise .yeah ,I know that sun rises every day, but wait and wait till story end .

After lot of years being distressed because of life’s drama , fake people around me , life’s ups and downs, I had finally prepared a travel for my peace of mind .

And planned a solo trip for myself .which was 15 days trip to Chennai to Kanyakumari .I had thought that amidst a crowd of unknown faces , I would claim some moments for myself . but as soon as I reached there the same unknown faces offered me a big smile and a “Hi”..

I had a total 3 days in Kanyakumari along with just one simple aim .To witness the sunrise.

On the very first night , all of us found ourselves in the lyrics of the songs and the beauty of full moon ,so much so that we barely realized when the time passed when the time passed on to 4 am.

I couldn’t notice when my thick black sky had softened itself to white colors and it managed to pull along and even when it blended into clouds, it managed to pull along with it the moon ,the sun, and the even stars. I thought it was okay since there are were two days left.

Next day I was thinking to awake the whole night to watch sunrise ,but I have no idea when my friends giggles and laughter turned into peaceful sleep. In between all this , I even forgot to set my alarm. It was like sad moment for me because , I am not able to full fill my little dream and it was bad day for me .

On the next day ,I had to leave for Hyderabad .since the airport was little too far away and my flight was scheduled to take off, I had booked the cab for 6am in the morning .The stress and exhaustion of the past three days finally found release inside the cab. I fell in a sleep so deep that the next time I woke up ,it was only because I heard a voice .I realized that the cab driver had stopped the car. And that he had turned back and was trying to tell something .

“sir ,look on your right! “,

Rubbing my eyes, I saw a faint slice of orange sun peering in between a blue and pink sky. yes that was sunrise .

"Sir this is the best sunrise spot of this kanyakumari,"

 I thought this is the little dreams , which was fulfilled without any idea .And just like that, on the unfamiliar roads of an unknown city. Along my side cab driver ,I finally saw my little dream get fulfilled.

Many such little dreams lie on our path to the big dreams .its these little dreams that actually belongs to us. They don’t ask or demand for anything. But it will give a smile and strength to full our big dreams .

Because eventually, one day , these little dreams are the once that we call life .
