Little Secrets

Oh these little secrets
That reside in your heart
Will you ever let them out?
Like a cluster of moths and butterflies
Some black and white
Some vivid dyes

Oh these little secrets
That whisper a hidden tale
Will you ever let them sail?
Like the messengers of the Ocean
They should cross the red horizon

Oh these little secrets
How long will they stay!
When life is so fickle
They must flow away
Or Like the stagnant water in the pond
They shall succumb to despond

Oh these little secrets
Weigh more than you think
And when you no longer can bear
You jot them down in ink
Like a sweet gentle kiss,
They form a soothing bliss

For all these little secrets
Are meant to be told
To the heart that brings warmth
On this icy cold
