Love In The Eyes Of Athena

When you're too young, you can't possibly know what love really is. Does age really measures your capacity of knowing what love is?

Athena is just 12 years old when she was asked by her teacher the meaning of love. The teacher was expecting to get a stupid answer, for she was of course younger than him. The teacher wants to open up a topic about love that's why he asked Athena, he was going to compare Athena's answer with his.

Slowly but unsure, Athena opened her mouth to answer her teacher's question.

"Sir? Love...uhm...

The teacher smirked and was about to discuss when suddenly Athena opened her mouth again.

"Love is what everybody thinks as a complicated thing. When instead love is supposed to be the one that makes people smile. Today people fear it, people is afraid to experience real love. They say love will just make you shed in tears. But does love make you shed in tears? Isn't it supposed to be the feeling of being hurt, rejected, and other stuff, that makes you shed in tears. So in my opinion love is a thing no one should fear and every person should possess this thing called love."

Athena finished her answer with a warm smile while all her classmates were clapping and cheering her. Meanwhile with her teacher, he was so shocked that he just clapped along with the students.

"Ve-very good Athena!"

Her teacher complimented as she just nodded politely.Starting that time the teacher never doubted his student's capacity of anything, especially love. It's not that they already experience those stuffs in an intimate way, but they might know it because of their observation of their surroundings.

Never doubt anyone of their capacity of knowing the meaning of love. No matter what size, color, and age they possess, you'll never know their capacity of knowing the word called love.

Now I have a question for you all. Do you judge the knowledge of people for love by looking at their age? Because for me, I don't judge people by their age at all.
