Loved, lived, lost.

Why do we wait for the one who we know will never be ours? Why don't we simply leave them? It hurts like hell but still we wish them to be ours, why? We cry ourselves to sleep for that one person, why? 

The answer to all these questions is just one Word LOVE. This word, the reason for our survival and lifelessness both. Yes, you loved them with all you had but what did they do, left you to sob, to shatter alone, to survive not live.

You met them and you never realised when you fell for them so hard that you forgot to love youself. You craved for their one look, one message, one phone call. There one could make your day. You had butterflies in your stomach with that one accidental touch. Yes, you started loving it the way it was. Sometimes, you wish it was more but still you were happy. 

One day they meet a new personality. And they completely forgot you, your sacrifices, your existence even. You howled, cried, and then consoled yourself. Who stood by you at that point of time? You, yourself. You went numb for days. You ate hardly. But still you were surviving. Things started to get better. You started loving yourself again. 

But one day, their message pops up. Your heart beats pace like never before. You jump with joy. Everything flashes in front of your eyes. How you met them, how you grew close and then drifted apart. You want to see the message as soon as possible but you are afraid to face that all again, it took you long to love yourself and come out of those sucidial thoughts. But you brush everything aside and look their message.
