I couldn't fall asleep
For I have some memories in keep.
So I sat on my bed
And grabbed my pen instead.
My thoughts were stack
With my memories in black.
I wrote it all down on my favorite paper
While my penmanship is still at its highest temper.
All those restless walks
And those unintentional random talks.
The way your eyebrows meet.
The way your smiles show your teeth.
Those stories we laughed and cried
And failures we faced with, "At least we tried."
All those problems we shared
Along with the mistakes we cared.
All those movies we watched
And those funny games we matched.
All of the fights we had,
The instances that drove us mad.
Our favorite can of pineapple juice,
The pasta we made with tomato sauce.
The ice cream we ate with hands,
Along with the fries with cheesy sands
And the alcohols we cheered in glass.
Our love that matters although it has no mass.
I thought those things would last
But it all came just to pass.
