Some beasts have been coming to drink water from me,
Some fawns too, with their mothers, when the beasts are not in vicinity.
Many humans come too, but they have no fear,
Not even a beast wants to come when the humans are near.
I've waited for the sun to make me shimmer,
I've waited for the moon for that haunting glimmer,
I've waited for the rains to make me whole again,
I've never waited for the heedless humans, all they do is inflict pain.
You're one as well, who just wants to take and take,
Never to give anything, your words are all fake,
If i was a mirror, i would break into shards,
But I keep flowing with your lies and lack of regards.
I've nowhere to go, I'm stuck right here,
I've nowhere to hide, no masks that you wear,
Your deceit drops like pebbles,ripples flow through me,
Sending chills down my spine, driving me into melancholy.
You dry me out, and ignore my cry,
You dirty my soul and ask me to purify,
My magical waters have lost their charm,
But I'll keep meandering without causing you any harm.
