A cigarette and a beer bottle in hand…….looking at those made her realize that they had been her only constant companion ever. They never had any good in it for them but only her pleasure……she thought that why aren’t people as selfless as cigarettes and beers and that we can smoke out the worries in cute little rings and gulp down the bitterness of life and be pleasured just like we gulp down the beer.
Sitting on one of the highest multistory of newyork she sat there appreciating the beautiful skyline and watched the stars. she reminisced about the time when she and Isaiah used to sit on her terrace back in India and just used to hold their hands , not in a romantic way but in a way to assure each other that they had each other’s back at the worst of times……..
They used to sit there on her terrace and talk about millions of things……he would tell her how beautiful life is and she always captured his emotions in words and conveyed them through her poems to him , she conveyed his emotions in her poems because she never really had experienced such happiness . People used to admire her work for how beautifully the words had been put together which otherwise were worthless, how her poems brought a smile on their faces and inspired them to think positively and look at the bright side of life.
But her poems had been of zero use to her as those looked like some over cheesy lines from a romantic novel. She used to wonder how Isaiah had so much positivity in him.
Now that he wasn’t beside her she knew how……..as their unbreakable friendship, the day he told her that she was her best friend took her to cloud five , the time they spent together to cloud eight and maybe a step further into it would have taken her to cloud nine had cancer not taken him to heaven.
She learnt to value life after losing the person who taught her to…….but maybe it was too late now!
Wiping her tears and taking another gulp she bid her goodbyes to the world.
this is a girls words about how she has moved on and what she is like now
