My mind plays tricks on me.
I wasn't able to identify the reality.
Can't focus on what's important.
Can't grasp what matters most.
I'm so naive.
Can't follow through.
I found myself regretting
what I just said.
Blurting out lies because of anger.
Walking away when rejected.
Turning people down
Just because I feel miserable.
The mess I made
is undeniably huge.
Like an aftermath
of an unpredictable storm.
There's only one
who can fix me up
and turn me around
but he's out of reach.
So bear with me please
even if my words
pierces your bones
and kills your pride.
It may not be an excuse
acceptable enough,
but at least let me
wait for him to come.
