Metamorphosis

Info

"Now, what?" says the girl.

"Go inside."

"Why do I have to?"

"Go inside." It repeated, more forceful than last time.

The girl, hesitant at first, took a tiny step towards what looked like an abandoned door. The door along with its dusty and moldy wooden structure looks like it will fall apart with just a simple flick of a finger. Leaves and small branches littered the ground while an earthly scent filled the air. A particular thing caught the girl's eye that made her all the more unwilling to go inside.

"Why is a shattered mirror lying beside the door?"

" Go inside."  Again, it ignored her questions. then almost immediately, it assured her by saying, " You'll be fine. I promise you."

Finally, the girl went inside the broken door.

A silhouetted figure was quietly standing outside the door, observing as the girl went inside then proceeded to stare at the little bits of mirrors beside the door. Nobody noticed as the figure turned around and walked back out of the dark tunnel.

"She's gone now and she'll never come back."
