Mind's Pond

When you are struck amid the chaos,

you see everything but your peace.

Times like that come and go,

like a volcano erupting midst a silence.

only these show your true nature,

courage or cowardice is up to your nature.

It is said, you can't win a war without a fight.

Neither can you win your mind with flight.

Cause tranquility is an award,

For those who never back drop.

You can stop the flow of a river,

but can never stop the river flow.

So is the same for a mind and soul

cause they hold the mysteries we never known.

When you are feeling out of world,

get hold of your soul.

Let the memories settle in,

sorrows fade away,

and the chaos put out.

Like mud settling after a storm,

in a pond, where the water returns to calm.
