⚜️?My NOLA Saint ?⚜️

I met him at a time when my world was in pieces but somehow he intrigued me.  We chilled and explored together and tried to give it a shot. 

As I sit here and wonder was it all an illusion of the city it self, was what we spoke about real or a fantasy sold to another tourist. 

I may not know everything but I felt we were surefire if you took a gamble on it. But now I know because it has been shown to me 3 times. So I won't beg or chase nor will I keep waiting and hoping on an illusion.

I can only write this final note to you because I can't keep opening my heart up to be shut down. As much as I wished you believed in the time we shared, I have to accept we both are at two different places in life. 

So here goes my truth:

I fell in love with you but stayed guarded because of our cultural differences and because we still was learning how to understand each other. I really love you and this shit sucks.

I am still your biggest cheerleader and truly hope you are successful in all the goals we spoke about, and you still have a place in my heart forever you showed me the culture...but I have to let you go.

I wished you believed in coming up north and trusting the process with me but I understand you walk alone and you have to conquer this journey on your own.

We vibed to music and shared many hours talking. I listen to some songs that make me think of you but I understand that maybe I'll see next lifetime.  I still care about you/ I still love you and I have no hard feelings you will forever be my NOLA Saint❤️⚜️. Stay on your path you really deserve it and I hope when you achieve it you preserve it, you earned it and just know you will always have a place in my heart ?.
