My take on life

Life is a journey

A road we walk along

Sometimes we get company

But it's never for long

They'll give you comfort

And tell you "you're not alone"

But come a fork in the road

And they'll be long gone

With thorns, rocks and harsh weather

The road can get quite rough

But keep going, don't stop

Be brave and be tough

We don't know what lies ahead

Life has it's wonders beware!

But if what you see is a dead end

There's been a wrong turn somewhere

Never rush, walk slow and steady

And not in leaps and bounds

After all it's not the destination

But the journey that counts
