Nigh Night

Nigh night, it's almost over now

I can see the sun, slowly drifting away

Like my dreams, my hope, my life

It's going to be dark soon, I know


I can feel the itch on my arms

A couple sophisticated strokes and I become a painter

A painter whose favorite color is red


I can feel the tingling on my neck

Excited, waiting to be lift in the air

I can finally fly away from this place, away from all the pain


Or with a loud noise, a booming but beautiful noise

A music that makes me headbang after

One that can clear my mind


Or maybe I can stay who I am now

A glimpse of hope, it can be all right

But I can feel it, the dreams slowly fading like the sun

And soon the light will disappear and then ... darkness

Nigh night, when will all this be over?
