No Regrets

The memories we've shared,
Some are good and some are bad.
Have you forgotten? I wondered.
Have you cared about me? I hoped.
Have you even loved me? I wished.

You kept me out of sight,
Just like a criminal in the night.
But even so, I let it go
As I loved you so.
Scared that it may caused a fight
And make you go.

You made me cry, but you made me smile.
You made me lonely, but also made me happy.
You caused me pain and I endured it.
You made me feel worthless,
Oh, why you must be so heartless?

But despite of this, I didn't regret that I loved you,
I didn't regret that I cared for you,
I didn't regret that I tried my best.
I didn't have any regrets,
Because I know that pain would lead me to my best.
