I kept watching her go. I wished I could tell her what I felt, in words that she understood. I hoped she would turn back. Not hoping that she would run back and hug me and never let me go. But, to bid the final good-bye. She walked right out of the door, and not even for a moment she turned back. She was gone.
Seems like yesterday when I first met her, and since then we have been together. She meant absolutely everything to me, and I was everything to her. No day went by when she dint prepare breakfast for me. No night went by when I dint watch her sleep. There were times when I kept talking to her, and so many times when she told me how her day went by. She had her own flower shop. Well, that’s where we met for the first time. She was in the shop nearly every day, except on Mondays when the shop was closed. Monday was meant for us. We used to spend the entire day together. After breakfast, we would watch movie followed by lunch. Afternoons were extremely lazy and we would keep rolling over each other on the bed. Evening were meant for rides in our car, or a stroll in the park. I still remember one evening when a thief tried to snatch her bag and started to run. I chased him and got her bag back. I was her hero. We were so much in love with each other....
Couple: Is that dog up for adoption?
Owner: Yes. His name is Jack. He is a Beagle.
Couple: Why is he up for adoption?
Owner: His owner is that elderly lady who just left. She is suffering from terminal cancer. Last stage .She found him on streets near her flower shop. She does not want him to be alone after she is gone.
Couple: Oh, poor thing. He looks so sad. We will take care of him.
