Not Sarin. Its VX. It was three days before christmas, when Tam Lars's batch at high school where conducting their reunion. Held at the inn of the forest which is peaceful and quite. Party starts as soon as the sun is down.

Everyone was successful on their lives. Most of them are professionals. There are doctors, engineers, police, teachers, and lawyers. The celebration was exuberant. Each of them goes to bath before going to sleep.

Then the next morning, breakfast is ready. All are ready except for one person Blaze Brandy. So Enzo Fargo, Blaze's close friend since high school stood up to fetch Blaze on his room.

The room is locked. So Enzo asked for a key from the inn owner.

Enzo was horrified on what he saw. He shouted "Blaze is dead!". Open eyed, Blaze is not breathing anymore. Blaze's body is facing his bed. Everyone was shocked. They have a police classmate named Saire Maigre who took the situation properly.

As the investigation goes on, the police stated that the cause of death is caused by asphyxiation. Blaze's bed is wet due to his extreme sweating.

Everyone in the inn is questioned including the inn owner. Blaze was a bully. Even Enzo is bullied by Blaze in high school.

The police found some footsteps in a muddy area of the river not so far from the inn. The muddy area are full of slugs. This mud was the same as the mud found on Blaze's back part of his body. But there is no slug found in his room. But the mud smells differently from the mud in the river.

Saire already thinking that a specific chemical was mixed in the mud found in Blaze's body. Everyone was asleep the night the incident happened except for Tam as the inn owner saw him last night outside the inn.

Tam is now suspected for doing the crime. But Tam also saw Enzo and Blaze outside the inn separately. Enzo confirms that he is outside last night but didn't know that Blaze were also out last night.

Tam and Enzo is now the primary suspects. Tam is slim and small person in which can't even lay a finger on Blaze as it is muscular and a basketball player. Enzo is a basketball player too and in the same team as Blaze.

No one can support their alibis.

Saire investigated secretly through Tam's, Enzo's and Blaze's rooms. Enzo's handkerchief were found in Blaze's room. Enzo siad that it is the handkerchief that he lost somewhere last night.

In Tam's room, his nightwear was observed by Saire and found a mud substance in the tip of it. Tam said that he is walking last night. Of course he will get some mud because it was raining.

Saire already has the real suspect in his mind but needs more evidences. Saire remebered that Tam was hiding a wierd small bottle with a liquid in it. Saire is now sure that Tam did it. As they have a talk yesterday that Tam is working on a laboratory.

Saire gathered all the people in the inn on the lobby. "I will now explain the whole story". "Someone in here had got some slugs in the mud".

"Poured a deadly chemical called Sarin in the slugs. In which this chemical will kill a person if it will have a contact on any part of a person even through skin". "The killer toss the slug through the window hoping that it will land on Blaze's back and closes Blaze's window thats why it is not locked from the inside." "The slug didn't landed on Blaze's back and the criminal watches the slug hoping it will crawl onto Blaze. Fortunately, it crawled to Blazes back. And that's the time the killer goes back inside in his room."

Enzo asked, "if it is a deadly chemical, how did the slug manage to crawl to Blaze? Is it immuned from the chemical?"

Saire answered, "No, nothing is immuned of the chemical. The murderer used the slug because of its slimmy wet body that prevents the chemical from contact into its skin" Saire added, "the murderer is brilliant enough to commit this crime."

Saire framed Tam. Tam defensively said that, "the inn owner said that i went in the inn exactly 9pm last night and Blaze died at almost 12 midnight" "It was Enzo who went in that time", said Saire. "You saw Enzo from your window and dresses like him and got out to get some slugs."

Enzo didn't know what time he went in and the inn owner is old. It was dark and raining that the inn owner thought it was Tam as he is saw Tam when he got out earlier. Saire said, "You ask for some salt from the owner last night between 11:00pm and 11:15pm. In which is found in your trash at your room. It is to elliminate the remaining and unused slugs." "Your nightwear have some mud subtances", Saire added.

Tam said, "then what about the chemical you said earlier that was mixed with the mud in Blaze's body?" "I saw you yesterday before coming here, you brought a small bottle with a wierd liquid on it. I didn't saw it in your room earlier, you didn't also throw it outside." "I am sure that you are still carrying this bottle. Show it to us Tam!" (Tam pulled the bottle out from his pocket.)

Tam said, "Blaze was secretly bullying me during our high school days. He forced me to do his every home work, projects, assigments and any other school paperworks." "He is the captain in the basketball team that time. He promised me that he will let me join the team if i do his assignents. It was just a promise." "I just want to harm Blaze all this time until this reunion was coming. I saw oppoturnity this time. I was testing this chemical I formulated when i was working in the military." "But Saire, it is not Sarin. Its a VX actually. It is more potent than Sarin. As I finished this VX, I also formulating secretly an antidote of this chemical but Blaze's father interrupted. Blaze's father is the general of military. He said that, why am I making an antidote? Am I helping the terrorists?" "He fired me just recently from the service. Blaze knows about it. He just laughed at me and called me a frying nerd spy."

Saire interrupted, "as i looking for some evidences, i didn't saw the slug you used Tam. How did you get rid of it?" "As the slug crawled to Blaze, his skin will start immediately absorb the VX which he will felt of being choked and that made him sweat abnormally", said Tam. "So the sweat of Blaze made the slug evaporate as slugs will evaporate with the presence of salt and human sweat contains salt. I understand now". said Saire.

Tam said proudly, "And I did it! I killed Blaze and the General's son simultaneously! HAHAHAHA!"

No regret will be spotted on Tam's face.
