Obscured Pleasure

A little girl sang and danced along,

she found a place where she belong.

Muddy pits and fields drenched in rain,

oh! this opportunity isn't going in vain.

The little girl dressed in floral dress,

played the role of damsel in distress,

waiting for her fictive prince charming,

in the imaginary castle darning.

The little girl with mischievous smile,

hid behind the door under clothes' pile.

listening to the footsteps coming around,

she jumped out failing to make scary sound.

The little girl sprung around on her bed,

happy and smiling,her face flushed red.

With each and every jump she tried to fly,

her incessant try to reach the blue sky.

The little girl halted seeing toys and props,

eyes wide, nose touching the glass of shop.

Teddy bear,barbie dolls,balloons and balls,

Of all the things around they made her stall.

The little girl watched the stars with delight,

mesmerized by the numerous twinkling lights.

Her eyes sparkled watching the full moon,

as she envisioned a witch on her broom.

The little girl met a fairy in her dream,

white wings, that crown, all sparkly theme.

Amazed by the magic wand in her hand,

she thought there is nothing more grand.

That little girl who smiles without reason,

is stuck inside an unusual scary prison.

A prison made of blood and flesh,

guarded by age's unbreakable mesh.

Inside the heart of an adult lady,

lives a little girl with her teddy.

Eager to break prison so strong,

but does that only when she is alone.
