You meet me in moments
that I have kept sealed in my memory.
I revisit them ever since I lost you visually,
You, your eyes, your smile, your movements
the shadow of your presence within the sphere
of fifty meters of my existence.
I was here, for you always.
I used the lanes and bushes of every location
as veils of layers to the maze that connected me to you.
My ears could recognize your voice which never called my name.
My eyes, they could scan you from any distance, any shack.
Sense you like butterfly effect behind my back.
I was a Superhero, for you always.
We never talked when we should have
We could have.
Created mementos of dreams come true.
Later, you said your happy days were so few.
Your melancholic gaze, your fidgets, your fingers scratching your head.
I miss them, like an idiot.
Too big an idiot, for you always.
Did you ever think about me,
perhaps as a distant admirer or just a person nearby
Or like that girl in clumsy poses in striped, blue sweaters
"Damn weird.."
You never said it on my face,
but even if you could.
I would smile..
For you always.
When I am not dreaming of you,
getting too corporeal with me,
I imagine meeting you for real.
Again... somewhere in streets of some distant land
Like reality getting pulsed up with day mares.
You would ignore me like every other day,
But I would turn back and shamelessly say, "Hey!"
For you only...
This is the reason why I write. Kind of personal but not very unique. Read to see if you can relate.
00My first story. Inspired by the picture of the girl with the shells in the #playground.
