Our Little Infinity

Neat uniforms, attractive IDs
You were inspired and you are still now
Up all night, endless eye bags
You're good at it, would you teach me how?

You've been inspired
You're still the girl that's so prudent
One mindset, one goal
Studious acts of a studious student

Much have changed as I look at them now
What greatness a year could bring a vow
Working on separate ways for 10 long months
Living luxuriously the good life for once

Back from the beginning when you sat on your chair
The way you behave, is something I really care
Seeing those black eyes that crystalizes
I can foresee the now, even without glasses

The span of time of our little infinity
I don't need a John Green to remind that for me
When every time I spent with you
Tells something how we're going to be

We don't have couch memories
Or even expensive occasional dates
We were like hair strands controlled to bend
But without the power of gel, we don't mend

Or even an object thrown to the horizon
Through gravity coming back with rebuke
We're pushed to be what we were
Then we became a cake half cooked

These things I never expected to happen
Except the events taking place after that
I don't know such things when I was Grade 7
Now making receipts up until Grade 11

You met the person in school then you first looked
I wasn't hurt so bad, 'cause only half of it is cooked
The same name attracted you, what a coincidence
The cake I used as a metaphor's really not pretence

Still grateful I am for our little infinity
When you smiled genuinely and attemptingly hide
My heart secretly smiled back but never my lips
And that caused our lever love to waver as the tide
