Peace

The only thing that he craved for, was peace! A sense of tranquility that could overpower all his fears! A state free of unpleasant thoughts and violence! He was a very jolly good fellow, but the world, the cruel cruel world, made him something that he despised! That led him to start hating himself with a pure burning vengeance and now all he wants, is redemption because that would ultimately lead him to Peace! He fought many battles but now his own mind was at a state of war, and the only way he knew how to win, that he had trained himself to do, was through death! But, that wasn't an option! He loved someone, unconditionally and she... didn't! How come his life became so complicated? Just the other day the downside of his week was getting the wrong pizza, and now the upside is that the poison didn't kill him! It's crazy how the very fiber of someone's being can get so twisted that he doesn't recognize himself! When he sees into the mirror all he sees is a pathetic excuse to live, and it wasn't enough for him! Maybe death was the only option left, but how was he gonna do it? A bullet to the head, highly concentrated cyanid or maybe...hmmm that would be interesting! The best way, he deduced, to die was to carry on living the life he was surviving because it was killing him! The irony of his life! Everytime he looked in her eyes he would fall for her, and everytime that fall would hurt him! Everyday he would ask himself what the hell he was doing, and everyday he would stare at the abyss for an answer! What he didn't understand was, that there was no answer, just cold void with an infinity of pain that was exactly what he felt within! Give him the permission to end this agony, to end this pain! Give him the permission to reach the final destination of his life! Give him the permission, so he can rest in peace! For peace is all that he ever wanted, and if there was one thing he didn't care for, it was the price that he would have to pay to reach it!
